With the images from Oceans I made a video installation in the house where I lived. With a certain sense of phantasmagoria and mirage, I brought the landscape into the house, involving the architecture, the space and the domestic objects.

I installed submerged landscapes to sumerge the house under water.

Con las imágenes de Océanos realicé una video instalación en la casa donde habitaba. De manera fantasmagórica y con un sentido de espejismo quise traer el paisaje al espacio interior, involucrar la geografía con la arquitectura, las imágenes proyectadas con los objetos y elementos familiares.

Instalé paisajes sumergidos para sumergir la casa en el agua.

A peephole in the ground provides a view to earth’s inside, or to “the other side”. The viewers must bring their bodies to the ground, and their face almost against the dust to see what otherwise is not visible, the secret vision under our feet.

Una mirilla (el visor que se instala en la puertas para ver quién está allí) se halla a en el suelo, a ras de la tierra, proporciona una visión al interior de la tierra o “al otro lado”. El espectador debe llevar su cuerpo al suelo y poner su rostro casi contra la tierra para poder ver lo que de otro modo no es visible, lo visión secreta que alberga el suelo bajo los pies.
